i’m actually pretty sure KDE could trivially implement a “cognitive impairment” mode where it, by default, hides a lot of toolbar buttons and menu entries, and adds more feedback to some interactions

i’m also sure it could extend to non-KDE applications, to some extent, because most of that functionality can be provided via the Qt platform abstraction plugin
