@eris @fiore @rose ultimately that’s what a lot of the foss dev drama i’ve seen (not all of it i think) boils down to. most of them are just insensitive douchebags to start with, then people come to them like “you need to take responsibility for the community around your project” and, from their perspective, dictating terms with an implied “or else”. there’s only one way that can go.
or things like “people in your discord are being assholes and you’re not doing enough about it, therefore you are a nazi and you should feel bad. apologize or face the consequences.”
